The last day home according to the doctor and even if I am not 100%, I simply cannot stand to be home bored. Looking forward to go back to work! In the meantime, I have ventured a little bit out of the house, given that I could eat a bit more and feel more energetic. I walked to the main square (5 minutes) to take a second try at this picture of capturing the broken glass of a garage entry door with the buildings in the background. The result is different since I am now using a different lens, but I might like it more.
BTW I did not post the first try .... was long ago.

I am still stuck home, bored to death, eating bread, boiled rice or boiled pasta .. and pills. Still one day to go and at least I can go back to work (even if my diet might not change, sigh). Because of this, I really enjoy the only moment I got out today to buy some bread at the market near by. And during this short walk, I noticed the look the strong morning sun gave to this swan ... therefore, I took a shot at it.

No, I am not turning into a medicine photographer ... but my condition instead of improving (as I felt) today crashed again. Nothing serious, just an annoying stomach virus. Fact is, I am blocked home more days, with little eatable food and more pills to take :-(

On my way back home I was attracted by this truck next to a graffiti. When I saw it, it came to ming to do something slightly over-processed ... I got what I wanted, but I am not sure it made sense now.

It rains and rains plus I haven't got much time free these days even to eat. In fact, soon I will need to do some evening work as well. Not that I mind, but not this type. I did not stop, I was just away from my computer and thus unable to post anything. Still, I continued. All photos are from Italy and specifically Taranto in Puglia. I did take many photos and tried a few things, but to be quickly back on track I quickly took one a day that I planned for without trying to process them to their best.

It is already a while I wanted to try this. Every time I took a shower! This time I did not think and just did. What you see here is not photoshop. I took a photo through a clouded windows that I wiped in the center seconds before (thus still wet). Vignetting comes mostly fro photoshop.

I am at 40 days ... looking back, I cannot believe I lasted that long. And I even believe less that in these 40 days few nice photos came out and even a few more that I have not shared. Another 20 days and it is time for a lens change. That will be interesting.
Today I was confined home. On holidays to wait for the new washing machine and working (even if off). Thus, I needed a subject at home ... and I saw my son clown car. Well, he adores it. If I see it in this photo, I would be scared!!!

I was waiting for Nikon to announce this lens for looong time: a new 24 f/1.4! Something that can enable new shooting. On paper it has great specs ... except for the price. So, today I decided to play with another f/1.4 lens .... my usual 50 I have been using every day. This shot is wide open at minimum focusing distance. Cool effect, isn't it?
Now time to save ... sigh!

I have been thinking if I need to put this project on hold, since blogger is going to stop FTP support ... this makes me very annoyed since I do not want my stuff on google servers. So, when I saw this fire going on while walking with my family, I told myself "This is how I feel, This is today's shot!"
In the meantime I am going to move all to wordpress and completely split and change my site.
